Re: Sleepy mud bog
I was there thursday evening packing down the track well after dark. Tuesday you couldn't even get around the water truck lanes with the skid loader due to the ground still thawing. Thursday afternoon the equipment showed up and they turned the track to let the wind dry it out. It was primo till evening then I packed it. They turned it up friday eve based on the weather forecast. 10 miles away nothing but an occasional shower, Sleepy got dumped on! There is no lack of desire to give the riders the best experience possible at Sleepy this year. Like all business's the customer should come first BUT you can't control the weather, you have only so much in the piggy bank and you only have so much help. The weather puts a load on the other 2. Give Fessler a chance, he's got some great plans, and a lot of desire to make it great.
