For race days I agree with most of what's being said, and the biggest peeve of mine is Very little track time in a long race day.
I believe I speak for many of my peers by saying we'd like:
Less Motos and More track time.
A possible solution is to Combine more classes on the gates, and add a lap to some motos.
Two classes per gate, two gates per moto is possible for quite a few classes.
Pagoda did it last weekend in an effort to get us off the track before sundown and it worked fantastic. Plus I got to start with more than 5 riders for a change.
Masters series does it all the time.
Especially the age classes. A & B can go on the same gate, no problem.
If some classes can be eliminated, then all the better.
It's conceivable to get a race program down to 10-12 motos per day, add a lap to the motos and maybe another round of practice in the morning, or mid day..
So, we could possibly have (2) 5 lap practice sessions, and (4) 5 lap motos. We could be on the track for 60 minutes, instead of 40.
Less Motos - More Laps!
I also like HofferAYdo's idea of a price break for a third class. I'd race three with a little incentive.
