Ron, I see your point about the age classes, but I really don't think mixing A, B, and C together is a good idea. Some B & C riders will be intimidated and not even come to the race. Also that can be dangerous for the A guys. Last thing they want is to wreck because someone got in their way when they are lapping them.
Having the same riders that are already there racing together in bigger gates with less classes does not help the turnout. I believe it would only hurt turnout. I can see eliminating some of the classes, but you still need to separate the money classes.
Hoffman has a good point, lesser fees for multiple classes will help to get riders to sign up for more, but that alone isn't enough to bring in more racers.
Keep the ideas coming guys. The more you post on hear, the more we will be heard. It would be nice to have some track owners, bike dealers, and other people involved in this sport also chime in with their input. I know everyone has an opinion about this, but it seems like a lot of you just sit back and watch and never speak up.
