Re: What changes would you like to see?
Definitely agree with last post, the tracks and series promoters are so selfish in trying to run their own programs that it's cutting their noses off despite their faces. Too many tracks are running opposite one another, and practice days are also pulling away riders. A rider that might have driven 2 hours to race, will now stay at their home track and practice or go to a practice day at the track less than an hour away instead of racing 2+ hours away. I like practice days but they do pull riders away from races. Set up a series that promotes top notch race settings. That includes good track prep, organized day, and quality number of turnouts for good competition. Honestly think that money (gas prices) and other costs are a huge detract ion to racing at multiple events. Most mxers don't want a hard packed non maintained raceday, that gets overwatered just maintain dust. Change up the layout a little here and there, and see what layouts afford more passing opportunities. Keep it fresh and get organized with other tracks locally and work together to promote each other with one goal in mind. Rider turnout!
