Re: BORING!!!!!!!!!
Since I am an impartial voice, I will express it. Mr Pine Grove guy, if you have as many years in mx as you say you do, and if you have been a business owner/operator/manager for any of that time, then you of all people should know when to keep quiet. I have only been in mx since 2005 and small business owner since 2006, and I know when to keep my mouth shut. MX is a very small niche sport. The people that are fortunate enough to have related business' are even a smaller group. We cannot afford to lose 1 single customer due to bad service or attitude. The economy is driving racers away from the sport as it is, no need to run people off due to bad attitudes from mx business owners/operators/managers. If you lose that 1 guy due to bad attitude on your part, he will spread the word and you will lose 5-10 more for sure. Do a good job and that 1 guy praises your business, and his friends will follow him to your track. Your job as a business man is customer service....period. I DON'T personally believe that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. But......whenever that customer is wrong, I still need to man up and swallow the pride and let her THINK she is right. She might actually come back for more business. In my short time in the sport, I have experienced more crappy attitudes and customer service than I could have imagined. There are SEVERAL local mx business'/tracks that will NEVER see my money due to the owner being a total d-bag or talking to me like I'm some kinda retard or something. Just because somebody has more time in something than me, does not mean that they know it all. Good quality customer service is not in what you SAY, but the ACTIONS you take as situations present themselves. Actions speak louder than words. If you really have been in mx since 1970, then don't TELL us about, SHOW us that you MEAN it. Talkin the talk, don't mean nothin, man up and walk the walk.
