Suzuki or KTM. You want a good handling bike first. You can always make it faster. You can't always make a bike handle better. Or at least without spending huge money. With these two, just have the suspension tuned to your liking and go ride. You could also look at a Service Honda CR500AF. Cat's Meow there.
