I think your going to see a lot more of this happening in the future. Trampus Parker (2X world MX champ) and a bunch more are doing it. Good or bad, it is what it is.
Some are going to call Ricky a sandbagger, but it really is cherry picking, since he is legal to ride +25.
I personally think it is a step down for him if he chooses to go to LL in the +25 class. The "GOAT" doesn't need to ride an armature event in the +25 class. Racing Pro Sport is OK, but not those classes that where made for real armatures. Just my opinion. When he is 50, then that is a different story...
Whatever makes him happy.........
