I wasn't there, but did you guys use transponders? I raced an event at NEOC a couple of weeks ago and I was impressed with the scoring of the event. They had television monitors set up and you could track the riders every lap. It was very, very helpful, but then again, with close to 300 guys at a time on the track, it was hard to keep score without it. I think they had like 1100 entrants, so it kept everything smooth for scoring.
They used a transponder system that you bought for 5 bucks, yours to keep. Mount under your visor. Good for the entire year in NEOC, and any other organization that uses the same system. I don't think it is need in MX, but for hare scrambles, it would be an invaluable tool. Didn't hear any problems about scoring either. Just passing it along, not gripping at all.
