Agreed - It has a soft centre - as a film. There was some discussion on the committee at Decision Time but we felt that, overall, it was a film that had had very little distribution and many very positive reiviews. After a committee viewing we decided that it was worthy of showing, provided it was in a balanced programme of films.
Are you interested in being more involved - if so, why not come and say hello at the next meet. I think you might find Tokyo Story a little less sugary !!!!
