A thoroughly enjoyable evening was spent on January 19th viewing and discussing the best 6 student films of the year. In all there were about 25 members present and it was their votes that decided the winner.
There were 3 films that featured heavily in the voting but the members eventually chose a delightful animation called CANFORMITY as the winner of the 3rd Golden Windmill award. This is the story of a baked bean can that refuses to conform!
We will be showing it again on the night when the student who made it, Ben Satchfield, comes to the Film Society to collect his award.
