I am researching my Family History - John Jarvis and his sister Sarah - born around 1770 -1780 and the family is supposed to have connections with Cranbrook. John Jarvis was also connected with Welshpool and joined the Royal Montgomery Militia after leaving the Essex Fencibles about 1797
I notice there is a Jarvis House and Jarvis Lane in Cranbrook. Please can anyone throw any light on the family?
