circa 1945/6 i was the 6/7 years old i resided in a childrens home in cranbrook and wonder if anyone can shed any light on its history. some details.... it was a large manor type building set in extensive ground nwith many pine trees and i believe used buy the local home guard for training. it was mixed childrens and memories include daily cod liver oil and malt an orange juice we also had a weekly sweet ration the only name i can recall is a girl by the name of inis ( pronounced eyeniss) quelch. any comments please.larry walder.southampton hants
