Hi Michaela, I am a descendant of Cramptons of Cranbrook too. There were so many Samuel Cramptons, christian names didn't vary much and Samuel was a particular obsession with this family. I have a few in my direct lineage, but it doesn't include one marrying Harriot. I have taken a transcript of the parish register, and I'll have to dig it out and look. Meanwhile, look on my tree http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/~sharon007/ I think I have my cramptons on there (my email is on there), if I don't have these Cramptons on there, others do (on worldconnect).
