Wissley Pound 1940s

I stayed at one of the cottages at Wissley Pound in 1948, together with my family. We stayed with a lady known as Auntie Laurie. My Mother's family were Jenners but I can find no trace of a Laurie using census returns for 1901. I believe she would have been middle aged in the 1940s. Does anyone know who she was?
