I remember Mr Dann the Gravedigger.
One day my father came home from work with a bunch of very fine carrots,some of the best we had ever seen.We had them for Sunday Dinner and afterwards someone made a complimentary remark about the carrots,my father said he had got them from Mr Dann who had grown them on one of the graves because the soil was so good!.For once my mother was speechless!
