I moved with my family 22 years ago from south London and can honestly say this is a great place to live. I can't see moving away. We have a large range of original shops including food, clothes asnd lovely cafe's. The people are friendly. We have a great small theatre that puts on amateur as well as professional shows, and in the next village Europe's first digital cinema showing childrens films, and art films or less popular films. We have a huge wood and just outside Cranbrook and huge Forest near by Cranbrook still has a lovely look about it with no massive ugly development. Ian Hislop moved down 5 years ago for a bettre quality of life for his family and the school are second to none. please contact me if you want for details. Good luck .
