Job Title: Summer Reading Teacher
Location: McGrath
Supervisor: Under the joint supervision of Library Director and Tribal Administrator
Pay Range: $15/ Hr.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Library Director and the Tribal Administrator: Job incumbent
will plan the summer reading programs daily activities.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to work within a budget
Administer the reading test before and after the reading program.
Check out books and make sure that all books are returned upon completing the summer
reading program.
Collect prized and donations from the local businesses and individuals for the summer
reading program.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Must plan activities including but not limited to: daily silent reading, daily story time,
scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, word searches, story writing and field trips.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to work well with children
Must love reading
Other Responsibilities:
Other job related duties as assigned
Summation:
Must be flexible to adapt to evolving job duties. Incumbent must be able to work under
minimal supervision.
