Job Title: Assistant Summer Reading Teacher
Location: McGrath
Supervisor: Under the joint supervision of Library Director and Tribal Administrator
Pay Range: $9.00- $12.00/ Hr.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Summer Reading Teacher: Job incumbent will
plan the summer reading programs daily activities.
Essential Functions:
Check out books and make sure that all books are returned upon completing the summer
reading program.
Collect prizes and donations from the local businesses and individuals for the summer
reading program.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Must assist in activities including, but not limited to: daily silent reading, daily story time,
scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, word searches, story writing and field trips.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Age 16 years
Must be able to work well with children
Love of reading
Other Responsibilities:
Other job related activities
Summation:
Must be flexible to adapt to evolving job duties. Incumbent must be able to work under
minimal supervision.
