JOB OPPORTUNITY
Job Title: ANA Project Coordinator
Location: McGrath, AK
Supervisor: Tribal Administrator
Pay Range: DOE
Status: 30 hrs+ per week
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
Job Summary: Under general direction, is responsible for planning, direction and administration of the ANA McGrath Tribal Enrollment Project. Project Coordinator is involved in all aspects of the projects including program and fiscal management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review of tribal records and statues
2. Oversee the Genealogy Project
and help the survey process
a. compile research of genealogies
b. compile survey data
3. Help write the summary report of findings for the tribal council with
recommendations of proper ordinance or constitutional amendment development
as a result of the findings
4. Acts as a liason between tribal administrator, tribal council, TCC, IASD, and
Tribal Enrollment Committee
5. Arranges and attends all meetings between the above mentioned entities
6. Coordinates all phases of the project including ordinance or constitutional
amendment development
7. Directs the distribution of program funds and assists in purchasing/distribution
of program supplies, materials, and equipment
8. Works with the tribal administrator and bookkeeper to compile and review budget
9. Documents program activities, prepares information to meet reporting and budget
requirements, and evaluates programs according to stated objectives
10. Reviews and recommends revision in grant applications and goal achievements
11. Prepares quarterly narrative reports to granting agency
12. Prepares other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Clerical work experience preferred.
3. Strong, organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to operate standard office equipment including word processing and spread sheet programs.
5. Knowledge of native cultures.
6. Dependable, trustworthy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
