Duties include: The successful candidate must commit to this project for one full year. Work will involve about 1-2 hours per week. Position Description for Air Quality Monitoring Equipment Operator in McGrath
Ø Going to the site once every six days to change filters in two particulate samplers
Ø Visually inspecting the sampling system pump and collection tape
Ø Documenting observations regarding the site and equipment.
Ø Mailing used filters and ordering new filters in a timely manner; costs for postage will be covered by the program.
Ø Troubleshooting basic equipment problems using an Operations Guidebook and telephone assistance.
Ø Phoning or emailing Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) personnel every week to report the equipment status.
Ø Reliable
