Shared Position
LOCATION: McGrath, Alaska
1. High School Graduate or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
2. Must have a good rapport with children especially teens.
3. Must serve as a positive role model and guide teens in activities planned.
4. Must be creative in establishing new ideas for activities and fundraising.
5. Must work well with other agencies including IASD, TCC and the McGrath Native Village Council.
6. Must be willing to attend Coordinator’s conferences as required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist teenagers and young adults plan Teen Center Activities.
2. Assist teenagers with fundraising and recruiting volunteers.
3. Open the Teen Center up to 3 to 4 days a week, sharing days with other Coordinator.
4. Coordinate semi-monthly meetings with teens to schedule activities.
5. Keep records of activities and do other paperwork as required.
6. Work with pre-teens to plan activities based on program objectives.

& DURATION: Preference will be given to individuals committed to work on a long-term basis. These hours and days are to be shared with another Coordinator. Hours are from 7:30-9:30 weeknights and 7:30-11:30 PM weekends during the school year, for 15-25 hours per week.
