Posted by Allronix HOW in the heck did Diana get called home? I wonder if this means that it's their spirits that are in the Realm, and the rest of them are stuck under wreckage at Loonyland. The Seers's fate? Eeep! PERFECT Venger moment here. We knew he was one scary, vindictive son-of-a-b###h, but this is a stellar bit of just how casually brutal he is. Presto's deal with the devil - He's the guy who would do it. And I'll bet Venger knew damn well he was going to follow orders. Just WHAT did they put in the poor kid? He's a typical mage in having a pretty low Constitution score, and that thing seems to be feasting on it. Eric - Hmmm, it would seem over the course of your stories the Cavalier's gone from sarcastic to just plain shrewd. Not that it's a bad thing, necessarily. But that nasty envious streak he has towards Hank is going to turn uglier than a Bogbeast beauty contest. Also, what was pulled out of him? I'm wagering a guess, between this and Hank's experience with the dragon that the Young Ones have something inside them that might make their weapons look like useless trinkets in Venger's eyes. Of course, with Diana back in her home universe, he may not be getting the full set. Speaking of Golden Boy...Oh, man. He's made a cock-up of things (literally, in one case) and knows it. I wonder what was inside him that chased off the dragon in chapter 6, though. I also wonder how the hell he's going to puzzle it out with Eric and Shelia. (Though, he's probably thanking whatever lucky stars he has left that Bobby's a bit young and a bit too distracted to do the math and give him grief) I've said before that interlacing the rape scenes with the lovemaking gone wrong was possibly one the the most ####ing CREEPY montages I've seen in a fic. Went down like liquid nitrogen and actually made me wonder if there's going to be fallout on a spiritual level for everyone.

OK. Caught it on fanfiction.net and have been running through it. I printed that thing up and was almost late to work because I was hooked. One of the things I do enjoy about 80's cartoon fandoms is that, instead of relying solely on innuendo, you can actually explore all the chilling "what if."
