I tend to see her as . . . well, not very important, not worth much consideration. Like Eva of Devil May Cry. You know of her, but that knowledge doesn't give you much (just makes Dante all emo But, anyway, yeah. In my never-will-be-finished fic, I'm sort of using a DMC angle. The mom was human; long dead; tried to help her children, but was powerless (literally) against the forces that sought to kill them. Tragic mom death that doesn't really enter the story except as an afterthought for sympathetic purposes. Welcome to the boards. Hope you enjoy the stay. Love your name. I wish there had been at least one tiny allusion to the mother (or a mother — it's not as though there necessarily has to be one), something to go on . . . something to confidently write fic off of.
