RIP Daisy-Duke

In two weeks is my Daisy-Dukes 3rd birthday, but with a VERY heavy heart I have to say,( I didn't think I would have to go through this for atleast another 6-9yrs) she will not be here to celebrate it with us.

I know I have not posted in FOREVER & I mainly post of Facebook( but I do read still on here), but I just thought everyone who did enjoy my sweet girls photos and stories would like to know.

Rest in Peace my Angel, I'll always miss your smile! Give those hogs H3## up there for momma! My perfect Bay dog for sure God must have needed you more then me!

"I'm sorry," really doesn't cut it, I know. There are no words to make your loss go away. Let yourself grieve and in time you'll be able to remember Daisy Dukes and the good times you had together.

Jessica, so sorry to hear of your loss. Such a pretty girl and taken so early. We know that she's over the bridge playing with all the other Catahoulas!

Your sweet girl Daisy was a friend and companion in the truest sense of the word.
That in itself is irreplaceable.
Keep your love for her always in your heart and someday she and you will see each other again.

Right now, I know it feels like a huge emptiness and it hurts so bad.
With time it will ease.
Hopefully knowing that your friends are here to share your loss, your love of your girl and your sorrow helps a little.

Thank you all for your condolences. Yesterday, was the hardest. After I dropped my daughter off at Pre-K, as I pulled near my drive way, I looked toward her pen ( I know I shouldn't have) in hopes she would be there standing on her back legs waiting on breakfast, and barking to let me know I wasn't coming fast enough.

She was my gift 2yrs ago from my hubby, kinda a Christmas/Birthday gift. When I saw her at the show ( the day I picked her up) she was prefect! Those weeks to follow, as I got her and Booger at the same time, were hectic and they really showed just HOW a houla can be nutty. At 8mons old she settled into this young lady & would melt in my arms. She bayed so tight & had no fear, even when she got knocked around, that little 34lb dog got back up and gave that hog a good talking to, normally right IN his ear. The only thing, I couldn't pay that dog to catch, not even a fly. She was a love, loved the kids, loved other dogs, loved anyone who would show her love. To know this dog, you'd know the love she had to offer. It was more then any dog I've known. Here are a few more photos of my pretty girl. She is sorely missed....

There are some dogs who just become our soul mates. She sounds like she was yours. I'm so sorry for your loss.
