Please go to this forum and post your dog's photo and bio there. If you take him to the humane society the chances are he will mourn himself to death or be killed. We have gassing shelters, and heartstick killing shelters all over and some of the methods are not very humane and they are always over full. The dogs are lucky if they get 3 to 7 days before they euthanize them. Catahoulas mourn and they go downhill always in shelter environments. If you want to phone me I will give you some ideas on how to keep him safe until we can try to find him a home for you. If you give him away you are risking your dog also. You should ask an adopt fee and screen adopters, it insures his safety and commitment by the new owner.. and remember.. there are pit fighting rings all over who LOVE GIVE AWAY DOGS!! If they won't fight they use them for bait. Think about this and contact me
