Depends on what the bloodwork tells you. My Trouble has cronic colitis and other itis issues. He gets steroids what we call the magic prednisone. Unfortunately, it may kill the kidneys. He's 14 yrs old now so, prednisone to keep him comfy. Things are going through so that is always a good thing.
Cats are so hard to diagnosis, it's very frustrating.
