Morgan, there will be floods of prayers and healing thoughts coming your mother's way....mine included. For all those who read and do post and all those who read and don't post, that is a lot of positive thoughts for Val. How ironic that they would come up with a diagnosis when she got to this stage. The fault does fall on the heads of those people who call themselves doctors and let her get almost passed the point of no return. Thank goodness she is in capable hands right now. Hang in there. As much as you want to be at her side, don't let the stress of not being interfere with your health. She will need you soon to help her recover. Think positive thoughts too and don't let your frustration and anger get to you. If you do, those incompetent doctors have struck again. Once your mom is well, you can deal with all that. Please keep us updated on Val's condition.
