OT_Need all the positive thoughts...good vibes..whatever you can throw our way!

I just got home and got a call from my aunt. She and my mom have been trying to get a hold of me all afternoon but I was out getting groceries. The good news is we have a diagnosis : vasculitis and it's treatable and curable. The bad news is her second kidney has shut down. They are rushing her in for a contrasting dye CT scan and if the second kidney is showing signs of stenosis they will whip her up to surgery for a shunt ASAP. Right now I am so scared, worried, frustrated and VERY VERY angry! This has been going on for 2 years and if they had listened back then when we said that the high blood pressure was NOT normal and had come on in two weeks she could have been treated and cured before the first kidney had given out. Instead she got told over and over it was a part of growing older. A simple course of medicine and prednisone would have had her all fixed up and healthy. Please please send whatever you can to my mom tonight, that they get to it in time and save her kidney. I'm a wreck as you can imagine and wishing like hell I was there. The only thing I can do is ask that everyone who can send her some good vibes and hope that the universe listens. Thank you all!
