It was probably a bit easier to enjoy the day know that Val was in much more capable hands there in Vancouver. I have always enjoyed meeting other Catahouligans when we traveled. I'm sure that you would have liked it to be in different circumstances, but also good to know that friends are there when you can't be. There is one little girl that will be so happy to see her mommy, and one mom that undoubtedly be happy to see her little girl. You will have so much to tell everyone when you get back. Let hope and pray that in a short time the new doctors will find answers, and they will be the right ones.
