Posted by Roy Forbes This nationally televised event will help increase national awareness about prostate cancer and raise funds for world-renowned City of Hope Cancer Center. The tax-deductible entry fee includes a welcome cocktail reception Sunday evening in Richmond, continental breakfast, refreshments on the boat, one night's 5-Star hotel accommodation for each angler, transportation to and from the lake, all fishing equipment, full day of bass fishing with a top pro and an awards banquet/weigh-in to determine the winners. There are no cash prizes, as all money goes to the charity. The tax-deductible entry fee donation for an individual angler is $3,000. If two anglers enter together, the donation is $5,000 for the pair ($2,500 each). If anglers are interested, we have a pledge form they may use to raise the entry fee by soliciting tax-deductible donations from friends, family, co-workers and business associates. On September 8, 2003, at Lake Chesdin outside Richmond, VA, each of the 48 FLW Tour Championship pros will take two anglers to spend a day on his boat fishing alongside top celebrities and athletes in a fun and competitive charity fishing tournament. Space is limited to the first 96 anglers.
