In reading the Candlewood Marine Patrol Report, prepared by LPO Joe Yedowitz, I was disgusted by the misrepresentation of facts presented, but moreso by the overexaggerated accusations of wrongdoing, which amounted to little more than conjecture. Yet, such conjecture will surely serve to fan the flames for those who have targeted us as their enemy. I am disappointed that a more constructive framework is (apparently) not in place, in trying to address the concerns of those feeling aggrieved at Candlewood Lake. I would welcome vigorously disputing many points expressed and implied in the Marine Patrol Report, but do not feel it is my place, as one individual, to do so. I do believe that the CBF must utilize its resources, in short order, to defend our image to those who are watching and listening to the distorted picture that this report is painting, and to take a constructive initiative in addressing those concerns which may be valid.
