It seems Like there is always something in the news about WVON, But I never see them in the top 25 of any demo. I do not listen that often but when I can it seems to really hit home to me. I do know those call letters are huge in the Black Community because my parents always listened when I was growing up I actually remember hearing a story that the 591 exchange for radio stations in Chicago was created because of WVON. I do recall them having decent numbers when the diary was the rule of thumb. I live and work way North so the signal does not come in when I drive to work and I can not listen on line at work. Is this PPM madness or is the programming targeted to a small audience? Just curious.
