68.204.238.27I do. The Symbicort and Spiriva help so much that I will continue to take them regardless of the trembling. 2 years ago, I was making 3 trips to the ER each month. Since I started the Symbicort, I have had NONE in over 12 months! My trembling is minor. If yours is MAJOR, you should ask your Dr about it. - Re: trembling

98.248.53.53It may not be from the meds. I have tremors at times and take neither of those. They are just called Essential tremors. Have no idea why they are named that but they are common as we age. I have it particularly in my left hand while holding something. You can take a low dose Beta Blocker and that helps but some doctors won't prescribe that for COPD patients.

69.129.197.8It's what I have too. Not shaking all the time but like when I go to write, or pick up a cup of coffee. It's a motor disturbance, not well understood. A beta-blocker like Inderal is good for it, but as Carol suggested, pulmos won't prescribe it--it's bad for your breathing. - Re: trembling

98.248.53.53Actually my pulmo did and it was really low dose. Can't remember which one it was. I took it once and had an near blackout while waiting for the elevator that day. Never took it again. He said that couldn't have done it but it never happened again. One of those unexplained things that scares you to death so I will deal with the shakes but my stepdaughter has really bad tremors and she takes it. It helps some but hers are very bad.
