Albuterol from ADC

I need to place an order for Tiova and a Rescue Inhaler, but I believe I saw recently that Ventolin is no longer available. Can I ask what you guys are ordering in it's place that is as effective. Tks.

I've been ordering Asthalin ... a CFC FREE inhaler with 200 sprays of 100 mcg of Salbutamol.

Thank you for the info. I just placed an order for Tiova and Asthelin with them. It is such a comforting feeling to know that you have a nice supply tucked away in your drawer and already paid for to boot. It doesn't take much to make me happy these days it seems.

rpj, do you think the asthalin works as well as albuterol? Maybe it's because it has such a "soft" disbursement (HFA), but it just doesn't seem to act as fast as the albuterol did.

I understand what you mean - it does seem to be "softer" and does NOT seem to act quite as fast ... however ...

... it does seem to be as effective and to last as long when it does take effect .... which is usually after about three minutes as compared to the 'under one minute action' of the old style.

In addition, it does not seem to me to be as harsh ... I seldom cough when I use it and thus find it easier to use.
