I agree ref the forum becoming more political and I find it rather troubling. I believe once that stuff gets out of the bag, we will have COPDers on the left and COPDers on the right and relationships will suffer badly. Also, we will have moderates pissed at hard-core folks of the same persuasion, regardless of which side of the aisle they enjoy. Also, I am positive that had we encouraged this guy in responses to his very politically charged stuff, he would be back again and again with other mail. I personally reject these guys, no matter which side they are on . Can you imagine how the forum would go if we let the lid off?
Despite the fact that things like the Medicare Bill can be extremely important to us, it will turn a lot of people off when it's being pushed on our Forum. I think if we open this door, we shall self destruct. Too harsh? I don't know. I just think that's what would happen. I for one, doubt I would bother anymore.
