I woke up on Sunday morning at 2 am SOB - Sats at 70 on 2 liters. Nebulized but that didn't help and called 911. I was stabilized and sent home around 5 am. What upset me was that although they are monitoring visitors for signs of flu - the nurse that tended to me was sniffing and hacking! I asked him if he should be there and he replied " Oh! It's just a cold:. I didn't see the Dr who attended to me before leaving, but I always get a survey re: my visit to anywhere in the system and I'll certainly address it there.
I slept all day Sunday and feel fine today. I've had several of the episodes before - all resulting in the same 911 call. I don't know what I can do in the future to avoid the 911 visit. Any suggestions?
