Here in Dallas the county adds a tax to the homeowners to cover the indigent care. Most of it goes to Parkland Hosp. The same one they took JFK to on that sad day. They have the best emergency services in the area and I don't mind paying that tax at all. It's the last resort for many people. Illegal aliens need health care too.
