Laurie, I have taken the fluconazole without any side effects but as we know we are all different. In one particularly bad case I took both the pills and the nystatin swish and swallow. One thing to remember with yeast infections is that sugar feeds it, so watch the sugar consumption. Good luck, it is such a miserable condition to deal with.
