Surprised me that the AMA approved it. I don't normally have a problem with AARP to any degree. Years ago one of the administration proposed a long term care bill where you would pay a surcharge on you income taxes. It was very small charge and AARP managed to get it voted down. I really thought it was a good idea and sure wish we had it now.
