Had to share this with my fellow COPDER'S
My hasband and I left NH the secomd week of Oct for a trip Texas, we were able to get our seasonal flu shots the last week in Sept but not the H1N1 shot.
I have been listening to the news diligently along the way. When we stopped in Birmingham Alabama early this week,the news said plenty of H1N1 at county health sites so we went the next day and the staff was super and we got our shots. In fact the nurse said "kind of a long way to come for shot" we laughed with her but were very grateful because NH still doesn't have any.
Figured we'd catch something right away with a lot of stops at touristy sites and of course bathrooms.
Very grateful.
p.s. they have shortage of regular flu shots there
