Every year I become concerned when I see the Medicare and You book arrive introducing oxygen right beside other durable equipment like walkers, for use at home is implied and emphasized.
I mention this every year but it doesn't seem to concern most who seem to expect to purchase all the lug around equipment. It's not the equipment comparison but the attitude of Medicare at ignoring portablility. They seem to believe it's the reason for E tanks. It's also why oxygen is timed to 5 years use, expected life span of those on oxygen. Where are the lobbyists when you need some....
