Yep, tonsils and adenoids at about 7 years old.
When our twin daughters were born in 1958 we had BC/BS, which cost $7.50 a month and was hard to pay. Twins were 6 weeks early and weighed just 2 lbs something. Stayed 30 days in incubators. Total bill including delivery was $900. BC/BS paid it all....a major blessing, because that would have sent us into bankruptcy.
