Nancy, I don't know if you are diabetic but Medicare doesn't cover getting your toenails cut unless you are diabetic so he probably did that so that Medicare would pay. Not right but that is probably the reason. I have checked into this because I have a bad knee and it is very hard, almost impossible to cut the nails on my right foot so I checked with a number of podiatrists and was told unless I had an ingrown toenail or something like that that Medicare would not pay so I have to pay and it costs me $50. In either case they were defrauding Medicare but saving you from paying.
