I can certainly understand charging for a spirometry test or a 6-minute walk test, but for putting the pulseox on your finger, sorry, NO. Like someone said, they don't charge extra for taking your BP, or weight, or temperature, why should this be extra? Yep, someone found a CPT code loophole and is able to get Medicare to pay for it.
