Lenal, I have never heard that about when you have your appendix removed you should take a probiotic. Do you know why that would be since the appendix is considered a uselss appendage at this point. I thought originally they thought it was a germ fighter but never thought it would have anything to do with the stomach or digestion. Probiotics usually help me but I just don't take them daily like I should.
