Hey Linda,
I know how you feel. My Pulmo also wants to put me on the list too. I have started the round of test, but hit what I hope is a small snag. They found a couple of small nodules on my c-scan. If it weren't for considering the tx, I wouldn't have had the c-span. Maybe a blessing in disquise. We will be doing another c-scan in late Dec to check if any changes have occured, but due to my experience, I urge you to start the testing. You;ve nothing to lose, and you're not committing, just checking your eligibility. Hope all goes well for you.
