Hi Linda..my name is Bob MacKenzie and I live in Taunton Mass.I had my tx 6-4-04 at Brighams and Womens Hospital in Boston.I also could not get L.V.R.S. as my lungs were to messed up so my Dr. said tx was only option. I am so glad I went for it. I also was scared but I wanted a better quality of life and belive me what a change in life it is.Ihave flown to calif. every year to see my children and grandchildren and I walk at least two miles after each meal. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week as it helps me to keep my suger under control and it is GOOD for me. Linda I know you are scared but the reward you get is beautiful.
