It never fails to amaze me at the number of folks who say "they just can't find the time", or "I should but I don't...", or "I'm too tired to exercise."..(proving they are not)
Then there are the "I'm bored..." and "when do you find the time..?" and the one that really gets me: " I've been so sick, I haven't been able to exercise..."
If and when you are sick unto death: Lift something of yourself and cheer that you have done an exercise! If you keep repeating that effort, eventually you will probably start to feel better!
Think of it this way. When you are laying or sitting around, if your heart slows down, where will the blood flow to...That's right, folks, you've seen CSI...it pools, it slows down, it doesn't circulate.....Lift something and start exercising...please, a leg? Just lift it and hold it for a second...the muscle is exercising in your thigh that lifted it!
They can't put the lid down on you if you are still moving!
