It is pretty clear science...Lightening produces ozone, and ozone is a pollutant for COPD'ers who need oxygen.
We know too that rapidly changing barometers are tough on Copd'ers, too. The pressure in your lungs is at one pressure and the pressure around you is changing quickly.
Don't get angry...sit yourself down and do some deeper breathing and take your time. At least it's nothing you messed up or are getting sick.
