Again, it is important to have a Pulmonologist who can sort out the basics of your COPD. Emphysema, bronchitis, asthmatic components of COPD.
I personally had never considered asthma as a real part of my COPD, until I had a bronchospasm that landed me in an ER unable to breath. Smoke from a fry pan tied my lungs up tight. What may have just irritated you before may become important to improving your breathing.
How about that supermarket detergent aisle?! Things that never really got to me once upon a time are bigger triggers as I get on with this. I sure know how to leave a space that's full of any bug sprays, etc.
